Today launched our "Save More Lives ASPCA 100K Challenge" and boy oh boy did things start with a bang!
We offered fee waived adoptions for our cats and kittens for today only, and at the beginning of the day we had more than 120 cats and kittens waiting for a new home. 98 cats and kittens got that new home today, as well as 19 dogs and 1 Guinea pig. 118 animals got new homes today? 118!
I can't believe this number. Our staff and volunteers worked so hard to ensure each adopter got the information and time they needed to make a great match with their new pet. Throughout the day family after family, person after person left the building with a smile from ear to ear, so happy to have their new companion going home. It was an inspiration.
In just one day we saved 118 animals' lives... Thanks to you our community and supporters. This next three month Challenge promises to bring many more stories like this one, and I am so excited to see how we can get you involved. Check out our website for more information and see how you can take personal action to help us save 1,000 more lives before October 31st. https://hsbv.boulderhumane.org/save1000/index.html
And tonight as 118 animals start to bond with their new family it is a very very good day...
Wow that is amazing! Congratulations to all of the staff and volunteers who I am sure worked extra hard to get all of those adoptions through!

Amazing! This made me so happy it brought tears to my eyes. I would have been over there, but we already have three adopted cats to share our home :)
